United Engineers Party Kicks off election campaign in Kankakee

UEP Begins Campaign? Campaign for what?  The UEP leaders must be scared to death that the USDOL is going to run another election because they cheated and stole the last one. What was billed as a meeting of local 150 members from the Kankakee area for pizza and beer  and was stressed again and again as not a political function but just a chance to get together and BS with fellow operators was anything but. There were no speeches, no questions and answers, but the fact that every officer of Local 150 except Bill Dugan was there including business reps from district 5, 2, and 1 leaves one to think that the UEP idiots think every one is as stupid as they are. Not only are they as deceitful as ever, they are still the biggest liars that ever hit the campaign trail. For all of you members in district 2, don't believe a word of what Charley Johnson tells you. He lies! He claim's the meeting at NoDogs Tavern on Thursday, April 3rd was just a get together of Kankakee area operators to drink beer and eat pizza, on his dime, just come and BS and sing kumbya. Bull crap! This stunt was a political move because Dugan, Sweeney and the rest of the UEP idiots are running scared and know that a new election is coming soon and maybe some of them are going to be indicted and maybe going to jail. Take some time and listen to the exact words of Chuck Johnston and see what a liar he really is. Anyone who believes that every officer of our union including Sweeney, Cisco, Fagan, Douglas, along with Kevin Burke and Dugan's new found buddy Virgil Jean from Indiana just wanted to come down to Kankakee and have beer and pizza with the boys and has no political implications better get to the doctor because you are having some serious delusions. Sweeney should be meeting with the black and white members who got laid off from the Calumet Haz Mat job for complaining about discrimination instead of campaigning in Kankakee. The local can spend $11,450 for the St. Patrick's Day Parade but God forbid we spend $2000 for an arbitrator to defend discrimination against other ethnic members. Here is the exact phone message left by Charley Johnson about the meeting on Thursday. "nothing what so ever political", right Charley. You be the judge!
